Our method

Follow the evidence.

Know what a page establishes, what it relies on, and which claims have actually been tested.

Evidence labels

Selection and order

We prioritize relevance to software understanding, a traceable official source, and a distinct workflow. The initial directory is ordered by workflow coverage, then by ecosystem. A position is not a performance ranking.

Sources and dates

Profiles link to official websites, documentation and maintainer repositories. Price, support and data-flow claims need a dated source. Unknown facts remain unknown. A page update date changes for substantive edits, not to create the appearance of freshness.

Comparable tests

A speed or quality comparison requires comparable inputs, recorded versions, a documented process and retained results. Vendor claims and examples are not treated as independent measurements.

Commercial relationships

No affiliate links or sponsored placements are active in this preview. If a commercial relationship is added, it will be disclosed next to the relevant recommendation and will not be presented as an independent test result.

Corrections

We correct inaccurate facts at their source and revisit pages affected by important tool changes. A working editorial contact channel will be configured before the public launch.
